ALL ABILITIES PLAYGROUND - COLLINSVILLE GLIDDEN PARK GOAL - $500,000
TBuild a playground at Glidden Park that has zero barriers to access for individuals with mobility impairments while taking into consideration other non-mobility impairments including quiet spaces and play equipment designed for individuals of all abilities.
WILLOUGHBY FARM PROJECTS
Willoughby Farm is Collinsville's best kept secret. There are many ongoing projects that can use your help. Projects include Farmhouse Restoration, existing programs, Conservation Reserve and Farmyard Reserve.
UPTOWN COLLINSVILLE EVENT CENTER
The City envisions building an Uptown Event Center that will enhance the entrance to Uptown and invigorate economic development in the Main Street corridor. The event center will be an event space to host community events as well as be available to rent for private functions. At Collinsville Area Community Foundation, we offer a range of programs to support our community, including food assistance, job training, and healthcare services. Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each individual or family we serve.
COLLINSVILLE PARK AND RECREATION DOG PARK GOAL - $15,000
The City would like to turn the former Tomahawk Field at Woodland Park into an official dog park with proper amenities to allow our four legged friends and their owners an opportunity to recreate together. Funds will be used for fencing upgrades including double gates, signage, a water spigot and improved parking.
COLLINSVILLE PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIPS – GOAL $5000
Help send a kid to summer camp or provide an opportunity at any one of the programs that the Parks and Recreation Department has to offer. Founded in 1995, Collinsville Area Community Foundation has been serving our communities for over 25 years. Our organization was established to address the growing need for assistance for those facing financial, medical, or social challenges.
Webster Elementary Inclusive Playground INITIATIVE SPotlight
WEbster Elementarty School
Webster Elementary School is raising funds to create an inclusive playground. Webster houses a multi-faceted special education instructional program, pre-kindergarten through 4th grade, that accommodates students from Collinsville CUSD 10. The school provides autism support and life skills programs, as well as multiple PreK & early childhood special education classrooms. The inclusive playground will be universally-designed to meet the needs of all students, including those with disabilities.
